Terms of Service
Draft for review — business details and operational policies must be confirmed before publication.
About TaniBani
TaniBani is a desktop application for organizing tasks and notes operated by Seractive LLC. These draft terms cover the website and application. The business address, support contact, effective date, and applicable jurisdiction must be supplied before publication.
Using the application
Use TaniBani lawfully and respect the rights of others. Do not distribute malicious software, interfere with the website, or attempt unauthorized access to systems. Restrictions on software use do not override rights granted by applicable law.
Trial and lifetime license
The website advertises a seven-day free trial and a one-time lifetime license priced at $9.98, with no recurring subscription. Final purchase terms must state the currency, taxes, supported versions, permitted users and devices, transfer rules, and what updates and support the license includes.
“Lifetime” must be defined before purchases are enabled; it should not be read as an unspecified promise of perpetual hosting, updates, or support. Any completed purchase is subject to the terms disclosed at the time of purchase and applicable consumer law.
Your content and backups
You retain rights to your tasks, notes, and other content. You are responsible for the content you enter and for maintaining appropriate device security and backups. Local storage is not a substitute for a backup.
Intellectual property
TaniBani is a registered trademark of Seractive LLC. The application, branding, and website content belong to Seractive LLC or their respective rights holders. Purchasing a license does not transfer ownership of the software. Third-party software may be subject to its own license terms.
Payments, cancellations, and refunds
Payment methods, delivery and activation procedures, cancellation rights, and refund terms must be provided before a purchase is made. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights, including remedies for faulty or misdescribed digital content.
Availability and responsibility
Software may contain errors or experience interruptions. Compatibility and system requirements should be checked before use. Any warranties, liability limitations, support commitments, or termination provisions must be finalized for the applicable jurisdiction; this draft does not waive statutory protections.
Privacy and changes to these terms
See the Privacy Policy for information about data handling. Updated terms will be published here with an effective date and any notice required by law. Changes do not remove rights attached to an existing purchase.
